Types Of Acne

There are many other complications that may result in the development as well. This includes an induction of germs, pollutants, chemicals, and other contaminates entering into the skin. This condition can also be a direct result of hormones, impurities in the body, and several other conditions. Here, I will outline the different types of acne that you may experience.
Acne Rosacea
Individuals who suffer from acne rosacea often experience bumps on the face and other areas of the skin that are inflamed. The skin is often flushed, and the nose area may appear to be red. This condition is most common when it comes to the area around the forehead and the chin.
Nodules
When an individual suffers from nodules, they will experience a raised irritation that is much like a sac that is filled with pus. Many medical professionals will refer to these as “cysts”. Individuals who experience these suffer from a large amount of pain and discomfort. This is most often a result of the fact that the infection that creates this type of acne often runs deep in the skin.
Papules
Papules are a small, inflamed bump that appears on the skin. These bumps do not contain any type of pus, but they are often quite painful. When various type of debris accumulates in the skin, this is the ending result.
Cysts
Cysts are large formations on the skin that are generally filled with pus and it is considered to be one of the most complicated and severe forms of acne. The pus in this type of acne can actually become quite painful. Individuals who suffer from this type of acne often experience damage to the skin and may suffer from scarring associated with the acne.
Pustules
Pustules are a type of acne that basically is very common. Generally, it is identified by a red bump and then it is filled with pus. These may range drastically in size – some being small, and others growing quite large. The pus that is seen in this type of acne results when white blood cells and debris accumulate.
There are many different types of acne. In order to eliminate acne, it is essential to ensure that the type of acne is established. Seeing that each type of acne results due to different factors, it is only appropriate to determine the type so that the cause may be eliminated.
